On May 6, we celebrate National Nurses Day to honor the nurses in the United States. This day also marks the beginning of National Nurses Week, which ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale. To all my nursing colleagues…Happy Nurses Day!! I am so proud and honored to be part of this noble profession. While there are many ways to show appreciation on this special day, thank a nurse today, a simple “thank you” goes a long way!

The month of May is also Oncology Nursing  month. To our oncology nurse colleagues, thank you for fearless commitment and endless compassion! Happy Oncology Nursing Month!
